Y-CARE
About the Project
Y-CARE is an Erasmus+ project dedicated to promoting the mental health and emotional well-being of youth workers. In a work environment shaped by complex challenges, high demands, and constant change, Y-CARE offers targeted support through training, digital tools, and international collaboration.
In line with the EU Youth Strategy 2019–2027, the project raises awareness of mental health, combats the stigma surrounding psychological issues, and provides Mental Health First Aid resources – specifically designed for professionals working in youth services. At the same time, Y-CARE enhances media and digital literacy, empowering youth workers to pass on reliable information to young people.
The project also reflects the goals of the UN World Youth Report (2020), which highlights the importance of youth-friendly support systems and peer networks. By building these networks and developing an innovative e-learning platform, Y-CARE contributes to the EU Digital Education Action Plan and supports the sustainable development of youth work – both professionally and personally.
