STC - Sustainable Textile Counselor

About the project:

This Erasmus+ project is designed to equip professionals in the fashion industry with the knowledge and skills needed to implement sustainable practices. The project promotes consumer behavior change towards more eco-friendly textile consumption, aiming to create a socially and environmentally responsible textile industry. Through innovative learning solutions and practical experience, the project supports participants in becoming leaders in the sustainable fashion sector.

Project Objectives

  • Equip professionals with the necessary skills to implement sustainable textile practices.

  • Promote consumer behavior changes that lead to more environmentally and socially responsible textile consumption.

  • Contribute to the development of a more sustainable and responsible fashion industry across Europe.

Implementation

The STC project will be implemented through:

  • A modular vocational diploma curriculum focused on sustainable textile practices and consumer behavior change.

  • A flexible learning system integrated with training, consultancy, and community engagement.

  • A living lab exploration approach that allows participants to apply their skills in real-world environments.

  • A complementary e-learning system, a 6.5-month pilot test, and a final diploma project at NQR level 4-5.

Expected Results

  • Creation of an accessibility-compliant modular qualification course for a Sustainable Textile Counselor, including an entry-level test, flip book, e-assessment, and a final diploma project.

  • The course will be available on an e-platform and mobile app in English and other partner languages.

  • Graduates will earn a diploma at NQR Level 4-5, qualifying them for professional roles in the EU labor market.

  • The project will also foster recognition of consumer behavior change related to sustainable textiles.
